Chalet d’Julia
Peaceful seclusion is what you’ll find in this spacious mountain chalet located away from it all but still close to town. This custom built 2,850 square foot cabin sits pristinely on over an acre of land with easy paved access, just a short distance from the main road into Maggie Valley. Sleeping 8 comfortably, this home has three bedrooms and four full baths. There is even a small gazebo overlooking apple and pear trees, a perfect spot to enjoy that cool mountain air.
Relax on the wrap around deck with your morning coffee in any one of the large outdoor rockers. You’ll know you are in just the right spot as friends gather after a great day of hiking or skiing to tell stories from the day while waiting for those steaks to finish on the gas grill. A large outdoor dining table converts to a fun game of shuffleboard to work off those extra dinner calories!
Inside family and friends will enjoy this home’s open living space featuring a floor to ceiling stacked stone gas log fireplace and 65” UHD TV with streaming cable and DVD player. Separate gaming plugs mean you never have to touch the back of the TV. The chef in your group will appreciate the modern kitchen packed full of everything you need to whip up a dazzling dinner. Plus, the kitchen opens out to the main living space because in this home, no one puts the chef in the corner! Imagine the great meals and after dinner card games that will in sue over that spacious dining table.
When the day is done everyone will sleep well. Located on the main floor is the primary king bedroom with electric fireplace, flat screen TV and DVD player. The fully tiled primary bath ensuite boasts a walk in multi nozzle shower and has both a toilet and bidet. A queen bedroom and full guest bathroom with jetted tub is across the short hall. The laundry room with full washer and dryer are located adjacent to the guest bath. The upstairs loft bedroom offers a twin over full bunkbed with twin pull out trundle as well as a full guest bathroom. For those of you who can’t get away from work, a small office space is located there as well. Trust us, you never had a work view like this! A small sitting area is also in the loft.
Downstairs there is the game room with pool table, board games galore and futon which makes into a full bed. There is also a full bath located here as well. There is room for one vehicle in the adjacent garage which the owner will allow access to. Outside, there is an ample amount of yard space with this property to play in!
Chalet d’Julia really does have it all! A centrally located space with Spectrum cable and high-speed internet, Wi-Fi, Smart TV’s in both the living room and master suite, gas fireplace, electric fireplace, gas grill, and everything you came to the mountains to enjoy. Even better? If you pull into the second driveway beside the home, there is a short set of steps to the main deck, making it only a few steps to main floor full living space. Great if you have folks that don’t like to access a lot of stairs!
Please note this property is not pet friendly. Unauthorized pets on property will incur a $300 per pet penalty. The access to this home is a paved road with some increasing incline not far off the main road in Maggie Valley. We do experience inclement weather in this region, seasonally, all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive would be recommended for access in winter driving events. This property is ok for motorcycle access but not for trailers.
