The Bethel House is a true log cabin nestled in the mountain woods offering simple rustic living in a tranquil setting. This beautiful log home has enough room for large groups yet still cozy enough for intimate retreats. The Bethel House is the place to get away from the city life and get back to nature. Enjoy the huge fire pit outside or simply relax on the large rocking chair porch. While out, hiking through the woods, stop at the nearby barn and visit the goats, pigs, and chickens. If nuptials are in your future, you might consider the small country chapel hidden in the nearby woods. The main floor of the cabin has high beamed ceilings with large windows and a great room. Both bedrooms on the main floor have queen beds in them and privately adjoining bathrooms. A wrap around deck surrounds the great room and both bedrooms on the main floor. The lower level is perfect for groups featuring a large main gathering room with two sofas including a sleeper sofa and three sets of bunk beds. There are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms in the lower level with three more sets of bunk beds in the bedrooms. This is your opportunity to get in touch with mother-nature and disconnect from the world. For those of you that must be electronically entertained The Bethel House has WiFi and cable TV on one television, in the lower level, along with a VCR. You will never notice the lack of AC when you open all the doors and windows and enjoy the fresh mountain breeze. The Bethel House is walking distance from The Lodge making this the perfect place for extra-large groups, weddings, and retreats. Additional accommodations are available in walking distance at the Birdhouse, as well, which is an over/under cabin, featuring two units the Blue Bird and Cardinal Suites.
