Owl’s Perch

« of 2 »

The view from Owl’s Perch is breathtaking. You won’t want to leave the large wrap around deck overlooking the mountains. Owl’s Perch is gently tucked into the trees making this the perfect romantic get-a-way. If you are bringing the family, Owl’s Perch will accommodate you with two bedrooms and a pull-out sofa in the large living room/great room. A fire pit outside will add to the fun and romance not to mention the brand new hot tub. This rustic recently remodeled cabin offers a spacious game room with a new pool table with a removable ping pong topper. The cabin is complete with WiFi and HD cable TV. The great room has cable and internet TV. The game room and upstairs bedroom offers internet TV. New Mitsubishi splits air conditioning was recently installed in the bedrooms and the great room. Come enjoy this peaceful mountain cabin and the stunning views.

Less than a 30 minute drive to the heart of Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Area, Tony’s Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (historic motorcycle, as featured on History Channels “American Pickers”), horseback riding and golfing. In about 15 minutes, you could be in Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street in Waynesville and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing.

This cabin is a 40 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Smoky Mountain National Park, and the Harrah’s Casino in Cherokee (even if you do not gamble it has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday).

A little more than 40 minutes away, you’ll arrive in Asheville at the Biltmore Estates & Winery, several micro-breweries, and 1 hour and 20 minutes away is Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops.

Approximately, 50 minutes away heading south to Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more in the surrounding areas. You are 1 hour 40 minutes to Gatlinburg, TN and Pigeon Forge (home of Dollywood).

The approach to this vacation rental is a paved to the cabin with a short steep paved driveway. We advise during the Fall and Winter Season (more specifically during inclement weather) guests use an all-wheel drive or 4 wheel drive for accessibility.
