Equipped with all the amenities you might look for in a much larger property, On Mountain Time provides the perfect space to get away from it all with a gorgeous big mountain view. From the back covered deck, enjoy a cup of coffee from either the Keurig or a four-cup drip coffeemaker as you plan the day’s adventure, or take in cool mountain air in the evenings while you wait for dinner to cook on the gas grill. Pop into the hot tub at day’s end to relax and unwind after a big day of outdoor adventures, or maybe just shopping! At nightfall, sit outside by the firepit enjoying the company of friends and family. You are free to live your best life here On Mountain Time!

This cozy cabin features a large open floor style living space with a stone walled gas fireplace surrounded by oversized leather couches complete with big screen flat TV. The adjacent modern well-appointed kitchen and dining area looks out to that stunning view. A king primary bedroom with bathroom en suite and a second bedroom with double bed and additional full bathroom offer plenty of room for everyone. Central heat/AC, Blu-ray DVD player, Smart TVs in each bedroom available to log into your favorite streaming apps, T Mobile High-Speed Internet and Wi-Fi and stackable washer/dryer. On Mountain Time is a beautiful property that will give you the full mountain experience.

Please note this property is not pet friendly. Unauthorized pets on property will incur a $300 per pet penalty. Access to the home is a paved road with increase in incline as you make your way up. Final access is a well-maintained gravel road. Four-wheel drive, all-wheel drive and even snow tire chains would be required during winter months if there were a snow or ice event.  Absolutely no smoking or vaping.

There is so much to do around this vacation home all year-round. Just a few minutes’ drive to the heart of Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Area (known for being one of the first ski resorts in the US to open each year), Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (a historic motorcycle museum featured on the History Channel’s “American Pickers”), horseback riding and golfing. In about 25 minutes, you could be in downtown Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing.

This home is a less than a 30-minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino (even if you do not gamble, Harrah’s has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday).

A little more than 50 minutes away, you’ll arrive in Asheville at the Biltmore Estate & Winery (America’s largest and most visited privately-owned home), many great restaurants and micro-breweries, and 1 hour and 30 minutes away is Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops. Approximately, 1 hour away heading south to Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more in the surrounding areas.

You are just under 1 hour 35 minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (home of Dollywood).
