Or visiting with friends on the rock patio for cocktails as the last golfers of the day sink their best shots right across the street, winding their way back to the clubhouse. Those steaks on the grill will be ready in just a minute! It’s one of those vacation homes that make a vacation unforgettable.
Or perhaps you’d rather spend the evening under the stars in the 6-person hot tub or swinging and rocking your cares away on the front porch glider with its ensemble of high back rockers listening to the creek nearby. A morning cup of coffee and a few pleasant conversations we all need more of would be fine right there!
From the moment you arrive, you will feel instantly at home as you walk into the open living area with its large fireplace, complimented above with a piece of stunning artwork. The fully stocked gourmet chef’s kitchen and coffee nook is ready for the foodies in your group. Conveniently adjacent to the kitchen area is a sunken formal dining room complete with a formal dining table with its comment worth chandelier and bar hutch are perfect for any gathering of friends and family. The master suite awaits just a few steps away with its large four poster bed and master bathroom with oversized tub, tile shower, vanity and dressing area. You’ll notice the attention to detail put into every inch of this home. An additional queen bed with full bathroom is just down the hall from the master bedroom as well. A third large guest bathroom separates the two rooms. Upstairs in the loft, you will find an additional queen bed and sitting area. Spectrum Cable, High Speed Internet and Wi-Fi, Washer/dryer, mini splits for heat and air round out this beautiful home.

A paved and gravel drive are both available at the property. 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive would be required to access this property in the case of a winter snow event.
Just a few minutes’ drive to the heart of Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Area (known for being one of the first ski resorts in the US to open each year), Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (a historic motorcycle museum featured on the History Channel’s “American Pickers”), horseback riding and golfing. In about 25 minutes, you could be in Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street in Waynesville and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
This home is about a 35-minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino (even if you do not gamble, Harrah’s has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday).
A little more than 50 minutes away, you’ll arrive in Asheville at the Biltmore Estate & Winery (America’s largest and most visited privately-owned home), many great restaurants and micro-breweries, and 1 hour and 30 minutes away is Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops. Approximately, 1 hour away heading south to Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more in the surrounding areas. You are just under 1 hour 35 minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (home of Dollywood).
