Cottage on the Greens
Cottage on the Greens is a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath home located adjacent to the currently under reconstruction Waynesville Country Club Golf Course. Surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, you can view the golf course in progress from the front yard patio. This home offers a small, but complete, kitchen that is stocked with everything you will need to provide meals. Central A/C with fans in the bedrooms and living room provide plenty of air circulation, especially during cooler months.
Spectrum Cable with over 100 channels, WiFi and phone service are included. This home features easy to adjust, double hung windows, walk-in shower in the master bath, a large walk in closet. Master bedroom has a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a dog friendly property, one dog 30 pounds or less or two small dogs 15 pounds or less are accepted. It is the guest’s responsibility to contact the property manager at Maggie Mountain Vacations as there is a an additional non-refundable pet fee, not included in the base rent. Unauthorized pets on property will incur a $300 per pet penalty. This vacation home is located near the currently under construction Waynesville Country Club, and lends itself to easy access. We do, however, experience inclement weather in this region seasonally, that may limit accessibility; all-wheel drive and/or 4-wheel drive is recommended in winter to access certain areas in town.
Less than a 25 minute drive to the heart of Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Area, Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (a historic motorcycle museum featured on History Channel’s “American Pickers”), horseback riding and golfing. In less than 20 minutes, you could be in Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street in Waynesville and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
This cabin is also is a short 35 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino (even if you do not gamble, it has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday).
Not even 45 minutes away, you’ll arrive in Asheville at the Biltmore Estate & Winery (America’s largest and most visited privately-owned home), many great restaurants and micro-breweries, and 1 hour and 25 minutes away is Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), andover 100 Antique Shops.
Approximately, 55 minutes away heading south to Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more in the surrounding areas. You are 1 hour 25 minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (home of Dollywood).
