Our charming smoke-free cabin, nestled in the mountains of the Maggie Valley Country Club at an elevation of 3400 feet is easily accessible from Maggie Valley, Waynesville and Asheville yet away from the stresses of everyday life. You will enjoy tree-mendous views while sitting on the deck or soaking in the hot tub. Our 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 3-story log home is perfect for large family/friends gatherings or an intimate getaway. The main level has a master bedroom with a king bed, bathroom, great room with queen sofa sleeper and gas fireplace, kitchen and dining room. The upper level has a bedroom with a queen bed and TV, bathroom and loft with queen bed. The lower level has a private entrance with a full futon, sofa and TV, bathroom with jetted tub and laundry room. The cabin has central air and heat and ceiling fans throughout. There are games,atari,saga genesis, DVD’s VCR tapes, CD’s, puzzles and books for those times you are lounging around the cabin. The kitchen is fully equipped to make tantalizing meals or your favorite indulgences with the cookbooks provided. A four-wheel drive vehicle is not necessary, as the cabin has paved roads from the main road to the front door. Close to everything… Maggie Valley is situated on US 19 about 30 minutes from Asheville and is home to a variety of weekend festivals, special events, gift and antique stores. The re-introduced elk herd can be seen near I-40 about 10 miles away. Within a 10-minute drive you can be in the quaint town of Waynesville, where Main Street boosts many fine restaurants, shopping and free weekend concerts featuring great local bands. Just a short drive is Bryson City, home to all types of water sports, including kayaking, canoeing, white water rafting, fly-fishing and the Appalachian Trail. Other area attractions include: Lake Junaluska, Cataloochee Ski Resort, miniature golf, hiking, horseback riding, the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. 2 National Forests – (Nantahala & Pisgah), Cherokee Indian Reservation & Casino and the breathtaking, scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge Tennessee are only a short 45 minute drive through the Great Smoky Mountains. One could spend months enjoying all there is to see and do. In the cabin you will find a notebook and basket full of brochures and maps to help you find a captivating destination if you choose to explore the area.
