This beautiful home comes equipped with central heat and A/C, Wi-Fi, smart TV with loads of apps, wood fireplace, hot tub, gas grill at a 4,000 foot elevation.
There is so much to do around this vacation home all year-round. Bearadise Ridge is located mere minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway making it a perfect location for exploring the Smoky Mountains. Enjoy a day of shopping the local boutiques and craft shops or dining at the local cuisine in historic downtown Waynesville less than 15 minutes away. The museum of the Cherokee Indian is about 30 minutes away. While in Cherokee try your hand at Harrah’s Casino. Also located within a 15 minute drive are local micro-breweries, Cataloochee Ski Area, Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (historic motorcycle museum, as featured on History Channels “American Pickers”), Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart, and many great restaurants. Within 30 minutes are Asheville and the Biltmore Estates & Winery, Smoky Mountain National Park, Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, Bryson City (home of the Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday), Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops.
Within 45 minutes is Hendersonville where you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with enormous dining Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more. Just about an hour’s drive away you can get to Gatlinburg, TN and Pigeon Forge (home of Dollywood).
The approach to this property is steep on a dirt/gravel mountain road. All-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive are required to access this home anytime. Snow tires and chains as well would be required in winter driving conditions.
