Appalachian View is a magnificent 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath custom log home perched atop the trees in Waynesville, NC. The views can be seen from almost any room in the house, the deck and balconies are private with long range mountain views. Access is steep on paved mountain road with a short distance of packed dirt/gravel. Winter may require 4-wheel drive vehicle and/or snow tire chains. The home is decorated with authentic pieces from all over the world and has comfy high quality furnishing. The vaulted ceilings and the wood fireplace gives a feeling of warmth and openness to the great room. The open concept full kitchen and dining area adjoin the great room, and allow for any kind of meal preparation, although there are many excellent restaurants nearby.
The master bedroom is located on the main floor and features a king-sized bed, private bath with a Jacuzzi tub and access to the deck. The two bedrooms upstairs have king beds, private balconies with a view and a reading nook in the hall.
